About the memorial: Situated in Knowl Road, approximately ¼ mile from the village centre and some 300 metres from St. John’s Church Description – there are two stained glass windows either side of the Organ at the rear of the altar in the upstairs worship area. The two windows detail the names of those who served and those who lost their lives in WW1.
