About the memorial: Rectangular brass tablet mounted upon a wooden backboard. Plaque is affixed to backboard by a screw at each corner. Wooden backboard is carved on the top and two sides with Tudor ornamental style decorations. The top of the backboard is carved of a dentil type. The plaque has a single line black border etched. Lettering is incised in black and red.
