About the memorial: Gun, large 150mm calibre, (Krupp pm 18 kannon), mounted on a carrier.Plaque is located below the muzzle. It is on a raked pedestal, the metal curled to look like a scroll, on which the lettering is painted using a mix of Roman and italic upper and lower case gilded lettering.
