About the memorial: Bronze Plaque. It is in the south transept, on the west wall thereof facing the large group of family memorials on the east wall of the south transept. The hymn board dedicated to Lt J M Mansel-Pleydell gives the date of death as September 21st instead of 23rd as on this memorial. The church is to the east of the road from Winterborne Clenston to Winterborne Whitechurch.
