About the memorial: WW1 board : Wall mounted portrait orientated, nowy-headed wooden board with a moulded-edge perimeter, housing a decorative nowy-headed banding comprising a foliate design of acorns and oak leaves. At the top of the nowy head is a slightly super-imposed crown and to either side are emblems. Within the banding at the top is a design of a cannon with partially stacked shot, immediately beneath is the inscription with names and at the bottom, is a composite wreath, cavalry sword and laurel leaf-like design. All banding, designs and lettering are raised. // WW2 board : Directly below WW1 board is a small, wall mounted landscape orientated wooden bevel-edged board.
