About the memorial: The bronze memorial plaque is situated in a prayer hall,which although there is a front entrance is accessed through the cemetery gate on the left. The memorial is to the left of the entrance door and is facing north-west.The plaque is positioned above a secondary one honouring the WW2 Servicemen. Its fitted to a marble mount on the wall. It 30 inches in height and 20 inches wide. It is in good general condition apart from some residue caused by cleaning.

AMEN. ERECTED BY THE GLASGOW JEWISH EX-SERVICE MEN'S ASSOCIATION. 1914 IN MEMORY OF THEIR COMRADES WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1919. At either side of this there are lions with flags the left the Union Flag and on the right the Star of David. There are 2 posts at the top left there is a Star of David with ZION in the centre of it. The pillar has 3 floral wreaths wrapped around it with FRANCE,BELGIUM AND DAROANELLES in between. At the foot of the posts there are candles with the floral wreaths continuing with a round shield and scroll on top and Hebrew in its centre. The right hand pillar has another Star of David with Hebrew in its centre and the same 3 floral wreaths with PALESTINE, SALONIKA and EGYPT . .
