About the memorial: Plain cross at roadside location away from habitation. Three-stepped square base surmounted by a square sectioned plinth, shaped to octagonal at top face. A tapering octagonal sectioned shaft and cross is mounted onto the plinth. Inscription in relief around four sides of plinth with further incised inscriptions on sides of plinth plus upper two steps.
