About the memorial: Tall Celtic-style Wheel cross on tapering plinth, and two-stepped base. Copy of St Martin's Cross at Iona. On the east side are revolving circles amongst which serpents intertwine. On the west side are scripture scenes surmounted by the Infant Christ in a stable watched by an ox and an ass.
