About the memorial: The plaque was clearly made after 1945 as it incudes both world wars. This is presumably because the church was destroyed when an RAF aircraft fell on it in November 1944, an event commemorated by another memorial in the church. The names are not in alphabetical order, which suggests that they might be in date order of death. The names include first name and surname only. There are 15 names for WW1 and 2 names for WW2.
