About the memorial: One-step base with plinth and obelisk in small garden enclosed by a stone wall to the front and metal iron railing to the rear. Obelisk has laurel wreath in relief top front face. The garden is accessed via a small, iron gate set in the wall. There are two, small flower beds either side of the memorial. The remainder of the area is paved.
