In loving memory of Pte. Edward Lakeland Williams Garlick, 2nd. Batt. South Wales Borderers Regt. the beloved son of Willam and Ann Garlick, who fell in action at Arras, France, April 23rd. 1917, aged 21 years. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
