About the memorial: LARGE TRIANGULAR SHAPED BOARD MOUNTED ON WALL. BELOW IS A SMALLER RECTANGULAR BOARD BEARING THE WW2 INSCRIPTION. THE BOARD WAS ORIGINALLY PART OF A GATE RUNNING DOWN THE SIDE OF THE VILLAGE HALL. WHEN THE HALL WAS REBUILT THE LANE PROVED TO BE TOO NARROW FOR THE BOARD AND IT WAS MOVED INDOORS INTO THE NEW HALL
