To The Glory Of God and in honoured memory of my beloved husband Brevet Major act. Lient Colonel Charles Kenneth James D.S.O and Bar 6th Border Regt. Killed in action while commanding the 2/7th Batt. West Yorks Regt on Whit-Sunday 19. May 1918 Nr Bucquoy in France aged 26. Married in this church 2 June 1917.Also to the memory of his brother Captain Baron Trevenen James M.C. R.E. R.F.C. Killed in aerial combat 18 July 1915.
