About the memorial: The stone memorial is sited on a paved area to the south of the Church. Single-stepped octagonal base surmounted by a crenellated octagonal plinth with inscription panel spaces between crenellations. A further second stage stepped octagonal sectioned plinth stands on the lower plinth with an octagonal sectioned column and cross, rising from it.
