TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LASTING MEMORY OF (12 NAMES) OF THIS PARISH. WHO DIED IN THE GREAT WAR, 1914-1918. THIS TABLET IS DEDICATED BY THEIR EVER GRATEFUL FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS. THEY COUNTED NOT THEIR LIVES DEAR UNTO THEM. WW2 tablet beneath reads :1939-1945 (4 NAMES)
