About the memorial: The roadside granite lychgate, is built up from the Churchyard wall, with wooden roof structure and slate roof. Contains plaque with white lettering bearing dedication. It was dedicated by the Ven CL Matthews (Archdeacon of Leicester) on 17th September 1950. Garden of Remembrance through lychgate.
