About the memorial: The memorial is set into the churchyard wall St Mary The Virgin Church in Hurley, Maidenhead in Berkshire. It is a wall-mounted limestone war memorial, set into a redbrick wall, comprises a simple cross on three steps and set against a flat panel flanked by two incised rectangular tablets. A pediment hood surmounts the memorial. The base of the memorial comprises a flat square stone with wall-mounted incised tablet. The church is part of a former abbey and the memorial is a cross with two plaques in the churchyard wall under a small semi-circular canopy.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
