About the memorial: Rectangular brass plaque surmounting a rectangular backboard of dark green and white mottled marble. Incised white painted inscription. The maker's name is at the bottom edge of the brass on the right hand-side outside the patterned border. Inscribed patterned border of laurel leaves on the plaque with an RAF badge infilled in white at the top centre.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

Terence Donough O'Brien)/ Born 21st November 1919. Killed in a flying accident,/ while serving with a Fighter Squadron,/ near Debden, Essex, on 31st May 1940./ Buried in St.Margarets Churchyard./ "With dauntless courage they gave their youth".
