About the memorial: Wicken, Northamptonshire : The stone built memorial stands in the Churchyard outside the Chancel east window. Three-stepped rough stone square base surmounted by a plinth and tapering square sectioned pillar with chamfered edges. Top of pillar is a closed lantern with metal relief of the Crucifixion. Inscriptions on plinth, with reliefs either side depicting inward facing cherubs.
