About the memorial: The plaque on top of the pillar was originally erected in 1951 by the Weybourne Village Memorial Hall Committee and resited within the garden of Weybourne Village Hall when the Hall was rebuilt in 1984. It contains the names of 12 men from Weybourne who died in the second world war. In November 2018, the plaques were reset onto new marble column in a new memorial garden and the memorial re-dedicated.

In honoured memory of the following men from Weybourne who laid down their lives in the second world war 1939-1945 12 names and in grateful recognition of all who served. This plaque was erected by the Weybourne Village Memorial Hall Committee 1951 A new plaque was added with the creation of the Memorial Garden and reads: Weybourne Memorial Garden Dedicated to thoise that lost their lives in conflict. November 2018. A plaque at the base of the marble pillar reads: Memorial Plaque resited at the new Weybourne Village Hall and rededicated on 6th October 1984.
