About the memorial: TWO LIGHT STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH DEDICATORY INSCRIPTION AT THE BASE OF THE WINDOW AND ON A PLAQUE PLACED JUST BELOW. FIGURES DEPICTED IN EACH LIGHT. ARCHANGEL DEPICTED IN THE LEFT LIGHT AND UNKNOWN FIGURE DEPICTED IN THE RIGHT LIGHT (c IWM) Major Perry died at Dile Fontein in May 1900, and Lt Marsh died of his wounds at Rouen in April 1918
