About the memorial: MARBLE WALL TABLET. ABOVE TABLET HANGS HEAVY WROUGHT IRON IONIAN CROSS WITH TWO TWISTS IN EACH QUADRANT OF THE HALO AND THE ENDS OF THE THREE UPPER ARMS SPLIT AND SCOLLED, ONE PART FORWARD ONE BACK. THE END OF THE STEM IS INSERTED INTO A SMALL RECTANGULAR BASE. INSCRIBED WITH BADGE OF QUEENS LANCERS (cIWM). Captain Nash fell at Ypres in February 1915.
