About the memorial: Embroidery with oak leaf and acorn decoration around three edges. Names encompassed by two trees. Inscriptions at the base of each tree. The whole mounted within a plain, wooden frame and under glass. Threads used are brown, green, red, gold and blue. Dedicatory plaque affixed to bottom edge of frame.

1914 - 1918 /Names / Corfe. They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them. We will remember them.Dedicatory plaque - This Roll of Honour in memory of Corfe men who fell the 1914 - 1918 war was designed by Mrs Dunbar, embroidered by members of Corfe Women's Institute, presented to the church in 1922 and dedicated by Bishop de salis.
