About the memorial: A 'Nowey' headed plaque on a polished wood backboard. The top has a relief wreath, a scroll beneath. The memorial was removed from Victoria Congregational Church when the site was redeveloped for the Houndshill Centre in Blackpool. It was subsequently removed to a new building with the same name in Newton Drive. It was removed at the request of the Minister and placed in Central Methodist Church, Blackpool.
