About the memorial: Simple glazed and framed Roll of Honour. Illuminated script. One name not on roll, or on Parish War Memorial is Pte. J.M. Quarrie, R.A. Killed in Action 01 January 1918. Buried in church yard in a Commonwealth war grave. Reason unknown. His name is listed on Lezayre memorial. Google maps wrongly describe tne church as a Methodist church.
