About the memorial: This beautiful plaque is kept behind red & gold velvet curtains. It contains the names of those men of the parish who served and those who fell during the Great War. In the bottom left hand side is a shield inscribed with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment emblem and in the right hand side a shield with the emblem of the South Staffordshire Regiment.
