About the memorial: IWM Register calls this St Mary Roll of Honour but the inscription given says St Ninian and it is in the Church of St Ninian ILLUMINATED, FRMAED AND GLAZED ABOVE THE INSCRIPTION ARE THE FLAGS OF THE ALLIES AND A PICTURE OF THE CHURCH. BRITANNIA AND MARIANNE (?) BELOW. DECORATIVE COLUMN ON EACH SIDE TOPPED BY LION (LEFT) AND CROWN AND MANX CREST (RIGHT).
