About the memorial: Brass plaque on wooden backboard (alongside other plaques to the history of the airport) situated in the departure lounge. Unveiled by Lord Gort 1991. Ronaldsway Airport was known as HMS Urley during WW2 and trained Fleet Air Arm crew.Originally above entrance to airport building.
