To the glory of God and in loving remembrance of Edmund Turner Young, Lieut. 6th. Manchester Regt. T.F. who was killed in action in Gallipoli on June 4th. 1915 aged 30. And of Malcolm Henry Young, Lieut. 25th. Lancs. Fusiliers T.F. who died of wounds received in action near Arras France on June 28th 1916 aged 22. Sons of T. Pilkington Young & Margaret A. Young of Stand Hall in this parish. 'For their memories, thanks be to God'.
