About the memorial: One of the ceramic WW1 Centenary poppies that were laid out at the Tower of London in 2014, in a glazed wooden case with sloping top on the underside of which is laser-cut an inscription. Positioned on a shelf immediately below the WW1 and WW2 memorial tablets in the church. The Tower of London poppies are not war memorials epr se, however because this one has been clearly mounted with a dedicatory inscription it would be deemed to have become one. The memorial is recorded on the Isle of Man National Inventory of War Memorials see Links
