About the memorial: The church was damaged as a result of bombing raid during the Second World War and was later demolished in the 1960s. The memorial comprised of a stone calvary with names inscribed on the plinth. The memorial was damaged and removed more recently and was not damaged/detroyed as a result of the bombings.

Names originally incised on the memorial but after WWII damage and during the 1960's the church was demolished the names are no longer listed on the memorial. One name is known: William H Barnett Company Serjeant Major 1st Battalion Somerset Light Infantry No. 324111 Died: 4th October 1917 Grave : XV. B. 11
