In loving and honoured memory of Robert Charles Denison, Captain 8th Battalion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, (T)killed in action August 27th, 1916; while gallantly leading his company in an attack on the German trenches at Orvilliers; Buried near Thiepval, France, aged 26 years. 'He died the noblest death a man may die, fighting for God, and Right and Liberty, and such a death is immortality'.
