To the Glorious Memory of / ( 3 names of fallen ) / of Bashall Eaves, who gave their / lives for King and Country/ in the Great War. And in honour of / ( 11 names also served ) / who with them answered the Nation's / Call to Arms. This tablet was erected / by the people of the Township / in thanksgiving to Almighty God for Victory and Peace.
