In memory of Eustace John Wilson PATTEN of Light Oaks Staffordshire. Captain in the First Regiment of Life Guards, born February 8th 1836, died December 17th 1873. Buried in the family vault in the church of St Helen, Warrington, Lancashire. This memorial is in Holy Trinity Church, Oakamoor, Staffordshire.Son of John Wilson Patten, 1st and last Baron Winmarleigh and Anna Maria Bold. He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in 1855, Lieutenant in 1857 and Captain in 1863 He was the husband of Annie Constantia, nee Beresford, they had three children. War Office, Pall Mall, 15th November, 1887. 1st Life Guards, Lieutenant John Alfred Wilson- Patten, from the 3rd Battalion, the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, to be Second Lieutenant
