About the memorial: Within the church, on the right hand (south) wall of the nave, adjacent to the door.A marble tablet, upon a black slate, commemorating the names of 15 men of the parish who served in WW1, and a further 3 names of men who died. The names are listed by unit, and then by surname, listing rank, initials, surname and unit. The tablet was originally in Zoar Chapel, Carew Newton, which id now closed.
