About the memorial: Within the church, in the right (south) trancept. A shrine, inset into the wall, with carved arch, consisting of a stone cross, below which is a white marble tablet commemorating Captain, The Honourable Ronald George Elidor Campbell, 1st Battalion, the Coldstrean Guards, staff officer to Colonel Sir Evelyn Wood, and who fell on Zlobani Mountain during the Zulu War, 28 March, 1879. Below the tablet is a carved freize in marble, depicting the badges of the Coldstrean Guards and family crest.
