About the memorial: The memorial is in the form of a crucifix on a calvary cross in the church yard facing north west down Church Lane. The inscription and names for 1914 - 1919 are on the front side, 1939 - 45 to the left (north east side) and Oman 1975 on the right (south west side).In the church there is a framed list of the names ( with slight differences) under the arms of the See of York (in colour)
