About the memorial: The memorial is a stone cross on a base of 3 steps in the churchyard on the south side of the west end of the church. A cast bronze plaque is attached listing the names of those who died in both wars, and was therefore made after the 1939-45 War and presumably replaced an earlier plaque. There is an inscription on 4 sides of the cross carved in bass relief.
