About the memorial: A large glass/wooden/framed scroll listing all those that served and died in WW1 and who were employed by the Belfast Gas Works. The memorial includes both those that served and those that died. The glass frame has 5 panels of which the two outer on each side listed those that served whereas the middle one lists that died. The memorial is situated on the first floor of the City Hall under the Cupola. It was moved form the old Gas Works in 1999. At its base is an additional plaque for WW2 deaths.
