About the memorial: Rectangular WW1 brass tablet with a pilastered surround of fumed oak with a carved wooden Royal Standard above together with the coat of arms of Belfast, A large glass/wooden/framed scroll listing all those that served and died in WW1 and who were employed by the Belfast Gas Works. The memorial includes both those that served and those that died. 5 panels of which the two outer on each side listed those that served whereas the middle one lists that died. The memorial is situated on the first floor of the City Hall under the Cupola. It was moved form the old Gas Works in 1999. Originally unveiled 19 August 1921 At its base is an additional plaque for WW2 deaths.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
