About the memorial: A Second World War Memorial to those who died aboard the Steam Trawler Etruria of Grimsby. The trawler was attacked from the air on the 18th December 1939, killing three crew. It is inscribed with their names and ages. A cross, with carved anchor and chain symbol and plinth made from Peterhead granite.
