About the memorial: THREE LIGHT STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH ASSOCIATED PLAQUE, BOTH DECORATED AS BELOW WINDOW LIGHTS DEPICTS KING EDWIN REPRESENTING LADS FROM NORTHUMBERLAND, ST MARTIN PATRON SAINT OF YPRES, REPRESENTING BELGIUM, ST LOUIS, REPRESENTING FRANCE AND THE EAST. AT APEX OF CENTRAL LIGHT IS AN ANGEL HOLDING A CROWN. AT THE FOOT OF EACH SAINT IS THE APPROPRIATE CREST: THE ARMS OF NORTHUMBERLAND, AND THE SHIELDS OF YPRES AND PARIS. THE PLAQUE HAS JESUS AT CENTRE TOP WITH ARMS RAISED
