About the memorial: Framed and glazed Roll of Honour with names in two columns narrow border of green and gold with floral design at each corner. small watercolour at the top of the scroll. crossed flags at the bottom centre. The location of this needs to be checked. It was form erly in the Miners Club but was moved toHopper House i the 1960s. Hoowever, the present day Hopper house is residential accommodation dating from later than that.
