About the memorial: A wheel cross, with a shaft with a sword of sacrifice in relief, rising from a plinth. Either side are additional blocks containg the names of the fallen in World War II. There are 33 names for World War I and 14 for World War II. The memorial was unveiled in 1920, the sculptor were Messrs G Maile and Son Ltd.
