top stone says "To our fallen comrades/they died that Britain should live" At top of plaque is a badge with motto "In arduis fidelis". This memorial was erected by the members of the 3rd North Midland Field Ambulance R A M C T 46th and 59th Divisions in proud and loving memory of our gallant comrades who gave their lives for their country in the Great War 1914-1918/Messines-Hooge-Loos-Vimy Ridge/Commiecourt-Lens-Bethune-St Quentin/Paschendale-Kemmel-Cambrai/Roll of Honour
