About the memorial: Memorial to two men killed in the First World War:

Private Hallam Hardy Johnson served with 11th Battalion, The Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment. He was the son of James And Lizzie Johnson, of Pickworth, Folkingham, Lincs. He died on 1 October 1916, aged 20, and is buried in the Adanac Military Cemetery, Miraumont, France; Plot 8. Row C. Grave 3.

Private George Cooper Cook served with 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. He was the son of George Cook, of Pickworth, Lincs. He died on 3 January 1916, aged 25, and is buried in the churchyard of St Nicholas, Walcot.
