About the memorial: Dark metal Memorial Plaque- the design revolves around the head of an angel which sits surrounded by angelic wings, three pairs each larger than the last, moulded in overlapping layers of feathers. Above this is a pediment which may have a crown or a continued angel motif (impossible to tell from image). Extending downwards from the angel’s head is a large, plain and fairly flat cross. This divides the plaque into two convex panels on which are listed names, arranged alphabetically by surname. Below the two panels, in a border, in raised letters is the inscription: ‘BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS’
