About the memorial: An ornate wall-mounted, white mottled marble tablet. At the head is a moulded cornice surmounted by a broken swansneck pediment and a wheel patonce cross. Below the cornice is a plain frieze with a raised chi-rho emblem at the centre and flanked by a pair of blocks with fleurons in relief. The sides are formed by attached plain colonnettes with acanthus leaf capitals and in the centre is a panel with a raised decorative border and bearing the inscription in upright capital block lettering infilled in black. At the foot the colonnettes rest on plain blocks above an inverted moulded cornice with a repeated pattern of splayed acanthus leaves across the centre, and the whole is supported on two brackets with fleurs-de-lys in relief. It is on the North wall.
