About the memorial: PEDIMENTED TABANACLE WITH LEAD RELIEF OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS FLANKED BY STANDING FIGURES OF THE VIRGIN MARY AND ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST. RAISED UPON AN OCTAGONAL, CONCAVE-FACED SHAFT, ELLIPTICAL IN PLAN, WITH A MOULDED BASE BEARING ONE OF THE TWO INSCRIPTIONS. THIS IN TURN IS MOUNTED ON AN OCTAGONAL PEDESTAL BEARING THE SECOND INSCRIPTION, WITH INDIVIDUAL LETTERS FOLDED ROUND THE CORNERS TO INDICATE THE CONTINUITY OF THE WORDING AROUND THE PEDESTAL.
