About the memorial: Two white marble tablets set within an alabaster frame. The regimental badge is in the upper left of the left tablet and the upper right of the right tablet. Each tablet has a moulded edge and an incised inscription in black lettering. Due to changes within the church this pair of tablets are now in the toilets.

To the Glory of God and in loving memory of William Leonard Brown Lieutenant 6th Battalion the Sherwood Foresters killed in action in France 26th September 1915 aged 23 years. Cecil Arthur Brown Lieutenant 6th Battalion the Sherwood Foresters killed in action in France 23rd April 1917 aged 23 years.
