About the memorial: The Calvary is a tall wood and stone structure positioned in the churchyard. The main element is a carved crucified Christ. A wooden INRI tablet is fixed above the figure and the crucifix is protected in the tradition of wayside shrines by a wooden roof covered in lead.The entire structure is mounted on a stone pediment with an inscription beneath the figure of Christ.

The names of the sixteen local men who died in the war are inscribed on a separate stone tablet mounted inside the church porch.
